Rewiring Survival Into Safety, Connection, and Purpose
Founded by Alfred White—an autistic, neurodivergent lived-experience survivor—TLOEP.US exists to support ABEs/ACEs survivors, BIPOC senior communities, and autistic and neurodivergent clients in moving out of chronic survival mode and into regulated, connected, hope-filled lives.
TLOEP.US integrates trauma-informed therapy, Polyvagal and nervous system education, HeartMath® heart–brain coherence tools, and Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) listening therapy. Services are delivered through accessible, secure telehealth options via TLOEP.US.
What We Offer
Bottom-Up, Autonomic Nervous System–Focused Interventions
TLOEP.US focuses on bottom-up healing—working with the body and autonomic nervous system first, rather than relying solely on talk-based approaches. Services include:
- Trauma-informed therapy and resilience coaching for ABEs/ACEs survivors
- Learn Your Value™ ACEs & ABEs screening and personalized healing plans
- HeartMath® HRV coherence coaching using tools inspired by the HeartMath Institute
- Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) listening therapy for nervous system regulation
- Community education and professional trainings rooted in BIPOC perspectives and lived experience
In technical terms, care is grounded in Polyvagal Theory, somatic and sensory integration, HRV-based regulation, and acoustic vagal stimulation (SSP). In everyday language, clients learn why their autonomic nervous system (the heart–brain connection) reacts the way it does—and practice simple tools to feel safer, calmer, and more connected.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is trauma-informed care via telehealth?
Trauma-informed care via telehealth means providing online therapy and coaching in ways that prioritize safety, consent, and autonomic nervous system regulation—especially for people with trauma histories. This includes careful pacing, clear explanations of what to expect, and the use of body-based tools to reduce overwhelm and avoid re-traumatization.
What are ABEs and ACEs?
ABEs (Adverse Babyhood Experiences) and ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) are early life stressors—such as medical trauma, neglect, violence, racism, or caregiver loss—that can shape brain development, autonomic nervous system wiring, and long-term health outcomes. Understanding ABEs/ACEs helps explain adult patterns like anxiety, shutdown, chronic pain, or relationship struggles and guides targeted healing.
How does HeartMath® help with trauma and stress?
HeartMath® uses heart rate variability (HRV) and heart–brain coherence tools to help individuals recognize and shift stress responses. Technically, it supports autonomic nervous system balance and emotional regulation. In daily practice, clients learn simple heart-focused breathing and coherence techniques that support calm, clarity, and more intentional responses.
What is the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)?
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening therapy based on Polyvagal Theory that uses specially filtered music to support autonomic nervous system regulation. From a technical perspective, it gently stimulates neural pathways associated with safety and social engagement. In simpler terms, clients listen to curated music in short, guided sessions and often notice increased calm, connection, and readiness for other therapeutic work.
